Terms & Conditions
§ 1 Scope
These General Terms and Conditions (T&C) apply to the use of the job board Hostel Talent ("Platform"), operated by Alexander Dolle-Koch, Lily-Braun-Str. 16G, 12619 Berlin ("Operator"). They govern the relationship between the Operator and users (employers and candidates).
§ 2 Description of services
The Platform provides infrastructure through which employers can publish job listings and candidates can post profiles. The Operator does not become a party to any employment relationship between employer and candidate.
§ 3 Registration and account
Registration is required to post listings and profiles. The data provided must be true and complete. Login credentials must be kept confidential. The user is responsible for all activity under their account.
§ 4 User obligations
Users undertake to post only lawful content. In particular, job listings must not violate anti-discrimination law and must not infringe third-party rights (copyright, trademark, personality rights). Uploaded logos and photos must be free of third-party rights or covered by a valid licence.
§ 5 Availability
The Operator endeavours to keep the Platform available but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, technical faults or force majeure may lead to restrictions.
§ 6 Liability
The Operator is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. For simple negligence, the Operator is liable only for breach of an essential contractual obligation and limited to foreseeable, typical damage. The Operator assumes no liability for the accuracy, completeness or legality of user-submitted content.
§ 7 Suspension and deletion
The Operator is entitled to remove content that violates these T&C or applicable law and to suspend accounts in the event of repeated or serious violations.
§ 8 Changes
The Operator may amend these T&C with effect for the future and will inform users appropriately.
§ 9 Final provisions
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. Should any provision be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
